With much gratitude to Caroline Myss and her teachings of divine wisdom. One of the wonders I have learned is about time. In Greek, CHRONOS, means clock time and KAIROS means, present time, NOW is where chronos and kairos meet, creating many possibilities for us. Are we in alignment with these potential possibilities? Are we in rhythm with our lives? Rhythm can be seen in the simplest of things around us. It can be seen in the brightness of the flowers, the hummingbird as it feeds from a bergamot plant, it can be seen in your own breath, the air, it is the same as the gull that flies above, someone in China will breathe that same air tomorrow. |
| I had made a choice to stay in Ubud, Bali after the group left in May and attend the Quest for Global Healing with Bishop Desmund Tutu, Lynne Twist, Fatima Gailani and many other great humanitarians from around the world. As I listened to one of Bishop Tutu's many talks, I found myself in rhythm as he spoke and decideded to write the following. These are his words put to rhyme and my hope this day is that you enjoy the essence of his wisdom. They are simple but effective. Isn't that what our lives are about, when we are having the times of our lives, it is simple and pure? |

"As Tutu Speaks"
As Tutu speaks, the bird sings,
The wisdom of the universe,
Spirit does bring.
We are wonderfully and fearlessly made,
None of us an afterthought,
We are all miracles, now ready to save.
God knew the divine he set forth
You can feel it rise within you,
You are beautiful, filled with your own worth.
Have you ever watched an orchestra, when the ring does happen?
A simple ring, ding, ding,
As with this simple ring, we are all here for a reason,
To enjoy all the seasons.
God weeps when you hide from your marvellous self.
He will not rest until you see yourself through his eyes.
Then and only then can he guide you with pride.
Remember the Buddha within," the God in me respect the God in you."
And it is here that you and me, become we.
Take seriously you are all God Carriers.
We are lovable because God loves us.
Grace is free,
Now go create God.
As Tutu speaks,
"God says, "I am no one except you"
I realize that what I have longed for is here,
I no longer seek.
The Angels ask us this day, are you in rhythm with life in and around you?
Are you in the now, are you able to create joyfully?
Are you a God carrier, creating God?
